2023 XC: Missed cross country season due to injury.
2023 T&F: Ran the 3,000 meters and the 5,000 meters at the ACC Indoor Championship ... Just missed All-ACC recognition by finishing seventh in the 3,000 meters in 7:54.66 ... Finished 12th in the 5K in 14:07.36 ... During outdoor season, ran the 1,500m at the Raleigh Relays in late March, finishing 16th in 3:44.13.
2022 XC: Earned All-NCAA Southeast Regional honors after finishing the 10K regional run in 30:05.5 to finish 14th ... Ran six races for Carolina ... Best 8K finish was fifth at the Coaching Tree Invitational in 23:48.0 ... Was 39th at the ACC Championship, finishing the 8K course in 23:44.6.

2024 XC: Scored at the Charlotte Opener to help the Tar Heels to a first-place finish …Helped the Tar Heels posted their second straight win with a sixth-place finish in the Virginia Invitational … finished 72nd overall in the Nuttycombe Invitational as Carolina took fourth as a team … Posted his best 8k time of the season while earning All-ACC honors… During the NCAA Cross Country National Championships, Coogan ran his best 10k time of the season.
2024 T&F: Missed indoor season due to injury ... Returned to competition after mssing a year at the Duke Invitational in March ... Competed in four meets during outdoor season running the 1,500m and 5,000m ... Won the historic Penn Relays 5,000m with a time of 13:52.60 his season best.
