2001: An NFCA Academic All-America Scholar-Athlete • Started 18 games at second base and played in a total of 35 • Went 2-for-2 with a sacrifice hit against UNC Wilmington on March 1 • Named to the Dean’s List and ACC Honor Roll • Honored as Wachovia Woman of the Week, an award that recognizes outstanding UNC female student-athletes
2000: As a sophomore, appeared in 40 games, mostly as a pinch runner • Started 10 games at second base • Hit a two-RBI double against Radford on April 9 in the Tar Heel Invitational • Named to the Dean’s List and ACC Honor Roll
1999: As a freshman, appeared in 15 games, starting two • Combined with Radara McHugh for a five-inning no-hitter against Norfolk State in the Triangle Classic • Pitched 21.1 innings with an ERA of 2.30 • Pitched complete games in shutout wins against UNC Wilmington on March 24 and Campbell on March 31 • Also saw time as a pinch runner, scoring four runs
At Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology: Three-time all-district pick • All-region in 1997 and all-metropolitan in ‘98 • Team’s co-MVP as a junior and MVP as a senior • Member of Fairfax All-Region team and a Virginia state all-star • 1998 winner of Donna DeVerona Women in Sports Award • Second-team all-district in basketball as a senior point guard
