2006: As a sophomore, appeared in 65 games, starting 59 at designated player • Earned second-team NFCA All-Southeast Region honors • Finished the season batting .278 (50 for 180) with seven home runs and 31 RBIs • Hit her first home run of the season coming off the bench against Iowa on Feb. 11 • Went 2 for 4 with three RBIs in the win over Toledo on Feb. 17 • Had a double and a home run at Boston College on April 8 • Accounted for UNC's only run during NCAA play with a solo home run against USF on May 19 • Finished the season with 14 multi-hit games.

2005: As a freshman, played in 50 games and started 45, mainly as the designated player • Had a team-leading six home runs, including a grand slam against Virginia Tech on April 9 • Finished that game with a career-high five RBIs • Also had a four RBI game against Furman on March 23 • Had a career-high three hits against Elon on Feb. 23 • Missed the final 17 games of the season after fracturing her ankle in practice following the UNCG doubleheader on April 14 • Named second-team Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Southeastern Region as a designated player.

At Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High School: Four-time all-state, all-conference and all-area honoree • Florida's Gatorade Player of the Year all four years • District Player of the Year as a senior • Selected for the Florida All-Star Game • Team captain • Threw eight no-hitters and two perfect games in high school • Led her team in RBI's, batting average, doubles, triples, home runs and walks throughout her career • Also played two years of volleyball • Recipient of the Academic Excellence Award for maintaining better than a 3.5 grade point average while playing a sport and helping in the community.

Personal: The daughter of Mary Testa • Born Casey Shannon Testa on Oct. 27, 1985, in West Palm Beach, Fla. • Has two brothers and one sister - Lindsay (23), Sam (19) and Ricky (12) • Her mother played tennis at Florida Southern, and her sister, Lindsay, played softball at Alabama • Brother Sam plays baseball at Lake City Community College.
