2017 XC: Finished 71st at the NCAA Southeast Regional • Took 64th at the ACC Cross Country Championships.
2016-17: Competed in the 10,000 for the first time at the Raleigh Relays, finishing in 30:49.96 • Won the mile at the Dick Taylor UNC Challenge • Earned All-ACC honors after placing 20th at the ACC Cross Country Championships • Clocked in at 30:17 at the NCAA Southeast Regional to take 34th place • Finished in 61st place at the Adidas XC Challenge • Took 167th place in the men’s blue 5-mile at the Joe Plane Invitational • Named to the All-ACC Academic Team and ACC Academic Honor Roll • Named a Tar Heel Scholar-Athlete.
2015-16: Set a PR in the 3000 at 8:25.92 at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships • Also competed in the 5000 at the conference championships • Set personal records in the mile, 3000, and 5000 • Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the 5000 • Placed 25th in the 5000 at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships • Placed 10th in the 5000 at the Mt. 2014-15: Competed at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 5,000 finishing 22nd • Competed in the mile at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships • Had seven top-5 finishes including two wins • Redshirted the cross country season • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Helped his team win the cross country state championships in 2011 • Was a member of the track and field state championship team in 2012 • Was the state individual champion in cross country in 2013 and led his team to the national championships in his senior year • Member of the National Honor Society and a Young Entrepreneur Society board member • Played one year on the basketball team as a shooting guard and one year on the soccer team as right back.
