2009-10: NCAA qualifier • Posted a 28-10 mark as the starter at 157 pounds, leading the squad in victories • Registered five wins via major decision • Captured the Hokie Open title by recording five consecutive victories, including a win in the championship of 15th-ranked Jesse Dong of Virginia Tech • Went 3-0 at both the ACC Challenge and the Northeast Duals • Finished third at the Reno Tournament of Champions with a 5-1 mark, including three victories over ranked opponents • Won the Southern Scuffle championship by logging a 5-0 record, including a win over No. 9 Bryce Saddoris in the semifinals and an overtime victory over No. 12 Kurt Kinser of Indiana in the title bout • Won ACC Wrestler of the Week honors for effort at Southern Scuffle • Jumped into top five of InterMat rankings after a 22-2 start • Earned ACC dual victories versus Duke and NC State • Placed third at ACC Championships by winning two straight contests after a semifinal loss • Went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships.

2007-08: Notched a 19-8 record as the Tar Heels' starter at 157 pounds • Was 10-3 in dual action and 4-0 versus the ACC • Earned all-conference honors with a runner-up finish at the ACC Championships at 157 • Defeated Matt Rosen of Virginia Tech (7-6) and Drew Dipasquale of Virginia (7-5) at ACCs • Also placed second in the Freshman/Sophomore Division of the Michigan State Open with a 4-2 record • Recorded ACC regular season victories against Duke, Virginia, Virginia Tech and NC State.
2006-07: Redshirt season • Posted a 16-2 record wrestling unattached in three events • Went 6-0 to win the 157-pound title at the Pembroke Classic and was 5-0 to win the Edinboro Open • Also took seventh at the Nittany Lion Open with a 5-2 record.
Prep: Three-time New Jersey state place-winner at Willingboro High School • Earned All-America honors with a fifth-place finish at NHSCA senior nationals • Wrapped up his high school career ranked ninth nationally by WIN Magazine and 14th by Wrestling USA • Posted a 135-14 record to rank as the winningest wrestler in Willingboro history.
