1996-97: Won the Richard E. Jamerson Memorial Award as the team’s most improved swimmer during her freshman year...scored 50 points for UNC at the ACC meet, the sixth highest total on the team ...finished third in the 200-yard individual medley, second in the 400-yard individual medley and second in the 200-yard butterfly...1997 first-team All-ACC choice...qualified to swim in the 1997 NCAA Championships...finished 54th in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.47), 27th in the 400-yard individual medley (4:22.85) and 20th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.81)...made ACC Academic Honor Roll...was named to Dean's List both semesters.
