Freshman Year: Scored at the indoor ACC Championships in the 800 meters, finishing sixth • Also ran the 800 during the outdoor season.
Prep: Albuquerque Tribune Track Athlete of the Year as a senior • New Mexico Gatorade Athlete of the Year as a senior • Member of state championship winning cross country team • Also participated in swimming and soccer • Captain of the swim team as a senior • Had a pair of top-five finishes at Nike Championships - fourth in the indoor mile and fifth in the outdoor 800.
