Junior Season: Saw action in 12 games in the circle • Finished 2013 with a 3-1 mark, starting four games • Combined for two shutouts over North Dakota (3/2) and Elon (4/10) • Recorded a 5.96 ERA in 22.1 innings.
Sophomore Season: Appeared in 12 games and started six as a sophomore pitcher • Fanned 35 batters in the 35 innings she completed • Pitched a 1-0 victory against Northwestern State allowing only two hits and striking out eight batters • Completed the season with a 3.20 ERA earning four wins and one loss.
Freshman Season: Started 16 games in the circle compiling a 7-5 record • Earned her first career win with a five-hit shutout at UNC Wilmington Feb. 23 • Posted a 4-0 record with a 2.62 ERA in five league starts • Struck out a career-best six batters in a complete-game win over Virginia April 2 • Followed that performance allowing just two runs over six innings in a win at NC State April 9 • Picked up a key win at Maryland May 7, allowing two runs on three hits in 1 1/3 innings.
Prep: Four-year letter winner • Three-time Miami Herald pitcher of the year and Miami Herald All-Dade first team • Named 2009 Miracle Sports 3A Florida Player of the Year and Gulliver Prep MVP in 2009 • Two-time High School All-America region first team and Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-American second team • Named Puerto Rican softball Athlete of the Year • Recipient of Duke Book Scholar Athlete Award.
Personal: Majoring in communication studies and classical studies • Named the 2014 Athletic Director's Scholar-Athlete for softball • Participates in the Richard A.
