Tri-captain of the 2002-03 Tar Heel team...first Carolina diver to be elected a captain of the team since Joe Craft in 1994-95...has solidified his reputation as one of the top divers in the Atlantic Coast Conference on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards…has been a clutch performer for the Tar Heels the past three seasons…2000 Senior National qualifier…was a member of the Northern Virginia Dive Club where he was coached by Bob Ketrick...dove for his club team since the age of 12...finished seventh on three-meter and 10th on one-meter at the 1999 Junior National Championships...was fourth on the one-meter board at the 1999 East Junior Olympic National Championships…a top-flight student athlete...sports a 3.573 cumulative GPA.
2001-02:

2000-2001:
At the 2001 ACC Championships, he placed second on the 3-meter and third on the 1-meter boards…named first-team All-ACC…advanced to the NCAA Zone Diving Championships where he placed 14th on the 3-meter and 20th on the 1-meter…member of the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll…garnered Dean’s List honors both semesters of the 2000-2001 school year...earned a perfect 4.0 in the fall semester of 2000. 1999-2000: At the 2000 ACC Championships, he finished second in 3-meter diving and fifth in 1-meter diving…scored 31 points for the Tar Heels at the ACC Championships...first-team All-ACC selection…2000 ACC Academic Honor Roll selection...was the second-place finisher on the three-meter board at the 1999 Nike Cup.
