Brantmeier Earns Two ITA Regional Awards

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the 2026 Regional Awards Tuesday morning. In the Carolina region, Reese Brantmeier picked up two awards. Brantmeier was named ITA Senior Player of the Year and Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship award winner.
The Wisconsin native was a standout for the Carolina women's tennis program throughout her career. Most recently, Brantmeier was tabbed ACC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and named a finalist for the prestigious Honda Sport Award.
The reigning singles national champion has continued to cement her legacy in the UNC tennis program. Over the course of her career, Brantmeier has earned 10 All-America honors while helping the team reach back-to-back Elite Eight appearances and the program's first national championship title in 2023.
