Commencement Weekend Athletic Events Know Before You Go

With several home athletic events and commencement ceremonies dotting campus, parking will be complicated in Chapel Hill throughout this weekend.
The Tar Heel women's tennis, women's lacrosse and men's lacrosse all will be hosting NCAA Tournament events in town, while the baseball team will host a regular season series against Pittsburgh.
A day-by-day parking guide is available below.
FRIDAY, MAY 8TH
Women's Tennis NCAA Super Regional vs. Michigan (Chewning Tennis Center, 5 p.m.)
  • Spectator parking will be available as normal in the immediate vicinity of Chewning Tennis Center.
Women's Lacrosse NCAA First Round, Clemson vs. Davidson (Dorrance Field, 5 p.m.)
  • Spectator parking should be directed to Raleigh Road Visitors Lot and Bell Tower Deck
  • ADA parking will be available in the School of Government Deck
    • Limited staff parking on South Road, School of Government Deck and Navy Field lots

Baseball vs. Pittsburgh (Boshamer Stadium, 6 p.m.)
  • Spectator parking available in Ram's Head Deck for $10 and Craige Deck for $7
  • ADA parking for $10 in Ram's Head Deck
  • Staff parking in Navy Field Lot, Boshamer Lot and Ram's Head Deck

Men's Lacrosse NCAA Tournament First Round vs. UAlbany (Dorrance Field, noon)
  • Spectator parking available in Raleigh Road Visitors Lot, Spangler Lot and Bell Tower Deck
  • All cars MUST be removed from Bell Tower Deck no later than 3 p.m. to prepare for commencement

    • Spectator parking ONLY available in Craige Deck for $7
    • ADA parking for $10 in Ram's Head Deck
