Heels Wrap Up Second Week Of Fall Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, NC--Â The North Carolina Tar Heels wrapped up their second week of Fall scrimmages with a five 1/2-inning scrimmage on Thursday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Offensive Highlights:Â Cooper Nicholson had a huge day at the plate, going 3-3 with four RBI and three runs scored on a double and a pair of home runs for a whopping ten total bases. Sawyer Black, who doubled, was 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.
Lee Sowers had a double on his way to a 2-3 effort at the plate with two RBI and one run scored. Rom Kellis V was 2-2 with one RBI. Carter French and Macon Winslow each doubled for the scrimmage's other extra base hits.
Pitching Highlights:Â Olin Johnson, Tom Chmielewski, Riley Leatherman, Justin Mabe and Talan Holiday all saw action on the mound.
