2025 Cancun Challenge Schedule Announced

CANCUN, MEXICO – Get ready for paradise as North Carolina women's basketball prepares for the 2025 Cancun Challenge, with the tournament announcing the schedule for the event on Friday. The annual event from the Hard Rock Hotel Riveria Maya is set for Nov. 27-29 with all games set to stream on FloCollege.
Carolina opens the Mayan Tournament on Thanksgiving Day, going against the reigning Summit League champions in South Dakota State for the program's first meeting against the Jackrabbits on Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. ET.
Returning to the court the following morning on Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. ET, the Tar Heels challenge Kansas State as the two programs meet for the second time in three seasons.
The Tar Heels close out the round-robin event on Nov. 29, squaring off against Columbia at 1:30 p.m. ET.
No stranger to Cancun, Carolina returns to Mexico for the first time since 2019 after winning the 2019 Cancun Challenge for the first year of the Courtney Banghart era. Winning two games in two days, Carolina defeated both Temple and Missouri to take home the title.
