200 Medley Relay Scores, 800 Free Relay Breaks School Record To Open NCAA Championships

Federal Way, Wash. – The University of North Carolina's 200 medley relay posted its best finish since 2014 and the 800 free relay set a school record to open the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday. The 200 medley relay finished 12th to score 10 points, while the 800 free relay placed 17th.

The 200 medley relay of Walker Davis, Ben Delmar, PJ Foy and Louis Dramm clocked a 1:23.23, just missing the school record of 1:23.20. The 800 free relay of Patrick Hussey, Dramm, Sebastian Lunak and David Quaresman clicked a 6:13.31 to better the previous school record of 6:14.88 by over 1.5 seconds. The mark to beat was set by Hussey, Dramm, Lunak and Matthew Van Deusen at last year's NCAA Championships.
