McNeil Finishes Fifth At NCAA Wrestling Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – North Carolina 149-pounder Lachlan McNeil earned a fifth-place finish on Saturday at the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia.

On Friday, McNeil became the sixth Tar Heel with three-or-more All-America honors, joining Jan Michaels, Rob Koll, TJ Jaworsky, Justin Harty and Austin O'Connor.
Â
With McNeil's All-America effort, the program has posted at least one All-America wrestler in seven-straight national tournament.
