Women's Tennis Doubles Earn All-America Honors, Brantmeier Advances To Quarterfinals

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of North Carolina women's tennis competed in the singles and doubles round of 16 at the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships Thursday afternoon at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. Brantmeier was the lone Tar Heel to compete in the singles bracket, and walked away with a three-set win over her opponent from Auburn.
In doubles, both Brantmeier/Hamilton and no. 3 Kajuru/Maltby claimed gritty wins decided by tiebreakers over their opponents. Thursday's wins send the pairs to the doubles quarterfinals while earning them the distinction of All-America.
After earning All-America honors in both singles and doubles this week, Brantmeier is now eight-for-eight in All-America selections throughout her collegiate career at Carolina. This marks a program first for the Tar Heels.
