Women’s Tennis Doubles & Singles Advance In Regionals

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina women's tennis continued doubles and singles main draw play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regionals Sunday at Chewning Tennis Center. Duo Oby Kajuru/Susanna Maltby led the way for Carolina with two wins. The pair is set to compete in the semifinals on Monday.
In singles, Theadora Rabman and Kajuru picked up wins to advance to the quarterfinals.

ITA Regionals
University of North Carolina women's tennis is set to host the Carolina region of the ITA Regional Championships from Oct. 16-21. The Tar Heels will welcome athletes from over 20 universities to compete at the Chewning Tennis Center this weekend.
ITA Regionals will take place at 13 different regions/sites across the country. Regionals is also an opportunity for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Doubles and Singles Championships. This tournament will qualify the two singles finalists from each region while only the doubles champion at each site will qualify for the NCAA Championships.
