LAST MEETING
Mariya Moore scored a game-high 22 points to lead No. 13 Louisville to a 78-60 victory over North Carolina on Feb. 4, 2016 from Carmichael Arena. Stephanie Watts led North Carolina with 16 points, while Destinee Walker added 12 points. UNC led 32-28 at the half, but UofL scored 35 points in the third quarter and extended its lead out to as many as 20 points late in the fourth.
LAST TIME OUT
Jamie Cherry's 3-pointer with 2.0 seconds left in regulation lifted North Carolina to an 89-88 victory over Georgia Tech on Thursday night from Carmichael Arena. North Carolina trailed by as many as 16 points in the first quarter, but methodically clawed back into the game, and gave itself a chance by tying the school record for the third time this season with 14 three-pointers.
Paris Kea registered a game-high 27 points, marking her 11th game of the season with at least 20 points. Meanwhile, Cherry had 26 for her fifth game with at least 20 points in the last six. Freshman Taylor Koenen set a new career high with 17 points and in limited minutes, Stephanie Watts added 11.

• Jamie Cherry scored 26 points on Thursday, and became the 37th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.
• Paris Kea has scored 21 or more points in seven of the last eight games, including 27 on Thursday night.

• UNC recruit Janelle Bailey (Charlotte, N.C.) was selected for the 2017 McDonald's All-American Game. She averages 24.4 points and 12.6 rebounds for Providence Day School.
• Cherry, Kea and Watts have each scored at least 30 points in a game this season.
• Stephanie Watts is tied for fifth in the ACC with nine double-doubles. She has 16 in her two seasons with the Tar Heels.
