Stephanie Watts nearly had the first triple-double in program history with 22 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Jamie Cherry had 15 points and a career-high nine assists, while Destinee Walker had 17 points for the Tar Heels.

Kelly Hughes scored 24 points and Boston College made a program-record 15 three-pointers in an 88-77 victory over North Carolina on Thursday night. The Eagles shot 63 percent from beyond the arc, making 15 of its 24 attempts, and held a 49-31 rebounding margin in the game.
