DURHAM, N.C. - The North Carolina men's fencing team went 1-3 Saturday at the Duke Fencing Home Meet, held at the Blue Devils' Card Gym. The Tar Heels beat Brandeis 16-11, but fell to Penn State, Duke and Air Force.
The UNC women will be in action on Sunday, with fencing underway at 8 a.m. and lasting until approximately 4 p.m. There is no charge for admission. In addition to Carolina, the women's field will include Penn State, Air Force, Brandeis, Duke and Temple.
