Pep Band To Play At Softball

The UNC Pep Band will be making its first ever appearance at Anderson Stadium this Saturday for the 1 p.m. game against Boston College. The band is certain to add to the atmosphere of the game and will play the national anthem prior to the first pitch as well as different musical selections between innings of the first game.
The UNC Olympic Sport Pep Bands are conducted completely by students of the university. In addition to appearing at softball, the band supports field hockey, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's lacrosse, wrestling and women's basketball. The Olympic Sport Pep Bands rehearse as part of the Marching Tar Heels during the fall semester and as part of the Basketball Bands during the spring semester.
